Aaron’s Cycling Team Continues Domination
of Georgia Cup with Perry Wins
The Aaron’s Cycling Team continued its winning streak during the recent
Perry-Roubaix Omnium in Perry, Georgia. Only nine team members made the trip
to what is known as one of the most physically demanding races around due to
the fact that the course makes its way through four miles of dirt road each
lap. Amazingly, out of only these nine racers, the team racked up an omnium
win, a road race win, and twelve (12) top ten finishes!
The highlights of the weekend included Robbie Kollar’s win the Elite
men’s omnium and Daniel Karnis’ win in the road race. The girls
team hung despite some bad weather to secure seven of the top ten results.
Chad Strickland managed seventh out of 50 racers despite not having any other
teammates in his field and spending most of the 50 mile race in a solo breakaway.
