The Grant Park Criterium, presented by Aaron’s Cycling Team, returns on Sunday, August 23rd, 2009. The same great course in the heart of downtown Atlanta, historic Grant Park, offers a unique race experience for competitors and spectators alike. Everyone will enjoy the course as it winds through the oldest park in Atlanta.
Spectators can visit Zoo Atlanta or just take in the scenery while watching the race on the hillside. Proceeds of the race will be donated to the Grant Park Conservancy and Grant Park Neighborhood Association.
Parents are invited to bring their children out to the Grant Park event, as there will be plenty to do and see including a race just for the kids. Both races will be straight forward category racing with great payouts and fantastic primes.
