Aaron's sponsored the final Georgia Cup race held in the heart of Buckhead. The Aaron's team racked up several top five placings in the race including a win by Shannon Hutchison in the Women's Pro/1/2/3 race. Shannon also brought home the Georgia Cup Jersey for the Most Aggressive Female Rider for the 2005 season.
Aaron's team member Richard Orr placed 2nd in the category 5 race, Ty Tagami sprinted hard for 3rd in the category 4s, Erick Pierce, Dave Howe and Mark Burroughs swept 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the men's category 3 race with Erick also bringing home the Georgia Cup Jersey for the Most Aggressive Category 3 Rider for the 2005 season. One of Aaron's brand new category 2 men's racers, Erik Koep, placed in the top twenty five in the main event of the afternoon - the Men's Pro/1/2 race for $10,000! |
